Just got my postcard today from Country Lanes indicating that our league meeting is August 29 at 6.45pm, and first night of bowling is September 5 at 6.45pm.

Two weeks until meetings for me.  Still sticking with Tuesday scratch and Wednesday competitive handicap leagues.  I'll be with a new team Wed, as mine folded over the summer, which is too bad because we really did enjoy each other's company but work got in the way for them.

My team has changed as well.   We had two that retired, one that is bowling part time, and will be our sub.  The Big Cat, who posts the practice video's of us, is joining my team, as well as a friend of mine's son...who bowled for Michigan St. University and has graduated...and now wants to bowl in the adult leagues.

I'm looking forward to this year.  We will be much more competitive, and I'm ready to go.  Of course, still have 2 weeks left of summer league, lol.

So...resorting to adding sandbaggers to your team. (Hush up, Fordman).
Some guys will do anything to win.

We haven't had much luck with Brackets over the last few years.  New guy wants to take over using H\C brackets.
Lucky digit has really taken off.  Within 3 weeks maximum it is over $1000.  Lucky Strike takes a little longer but not much.  Mysteries will be about $333 and Progressive will be given away every 3 weeks.
High Game W\C paid $160 all three games
Actual paid...............$135 all three games
Totals H\C................$200
Totals Act.................$100
Perfecta H\C.............$215
King of the Hill H\C....$165
King of the Hill ACt....$105
50\50 is about .........$275
Have two teams looking for (1) bowler each.
Point money this years is going to be $19.25 per point 7 point sys.
Last season we were missing a team but not now.
THIS IS NOT A PAID ADVERTIZEMENT.

Wow. Those are big. Especially since you don't have to shoot 300/800 to win something.
