Being a dreaded lefty myself, I can truthfully say that........................the bowling gods and I are NOT on speaking terms! (especially after last night).

I hear this crap all the time. The jealousy you righties have for us lefties is appalling.

BTW Keith, it just occurred to me that now might be a good time to pull out the black Hammer and give it a try.

Again, if i was leaving weak 7's, etc..I'd be wondering about what we all have been talking.  The ball has been reacting very good, I've just been leaving a bunch of solid ringing 7's...one after the other.

I don't believe I've ever had a bowling ball die on me. I've left 10 pins before, even with adjustment, but the next week with the same ball it's been solid...so I see it as other factors (personal fitness/energy, weather conditions, etc.) that might be giving you the 10-pin or 7-pin raise.

I have other equipment to go to, but it just so happens that the VG is my favorite ball right now.

As do I, but like you, my Cuda is my current favorite despite its age (I call it seasoned) Just this past Tuesday I shot 690 with it, but other nights it just seems like it lacks some punch. The ball and lane is just telling me to try something else and I will, but that doesn't mean the Cuda is dead or is no longer useful.
