This is another place in Nebraska:
GERING, Neb. After being closed for close to two months, Classic Lanes in Gering is set to reopen their doors on June 1st.
The decision to close on March 30th comes from the ten person or less restriction.
Once the bowling alley reopens, staff can have up to 25% capacity or in their case, 75 people at a time.
The bowling area, bar and kitchen will be open.
The arcade games and pool section will be closed.
In the bowling area, there will be para-lanes in between bowlers.
Families can have up to ten at a lane.
There are no age restrictions to bowl.
Staff asks for children not to leave the bowling area and not to run around.
As Classic Lanes becomes the only bowling alley left in the Scottsbluff and Gering area, their closure would mean the end of bowling within these areas.
“I just hope that the community does come out and support us because we are the only bowling alley right now and I would like to keep it open,” explained Nicky Stich, Owner.
Since the closure, there has been no revenue coming into the business.
Employees during this time are being paid from the Paycheck Protection Plan.
