We have been able to bowl again for a couple of weeks now.  I've been a couple of times and I have to admit, the thrill is gone.  We bowl with some friends in a practice session for Seniors like we did before the plague, but it's not the same.  They have separated us on alternating pairs, there is no coffee pot and fixings out for us to help ourselves, and worst of all, nobody visits like they did.  The super seniors sit on the benches by themselves, and those of us bathroom dependent sit at the table on the concourse so we can make to the potty in time.  It's bowling but it's just not the same.  At this point I fear it never will be.

It's all the same to me except the high fiving and slapping hands which
I never liked to start with.

I never liked the high or low fives.
First experienced them about the early 70’s and was told it was done to “share the luck” after making a strike . And what kind of person didn’t want to share.
