I am happy to state that since the knee surgery I had in July, I have made strides. I recently subbed in a bowling league in the Ozone Park section of Queens. I do have to admit I was more scared than a crook hiding from law enforcement officials.

As a sub I rolled 577 series for 3 games. My spare shooting was ugly. I went back for another round of bowling last Wednesday. First game was 187 with three opens including a split in the 10th frame. Second game was 195 clean. Had a decent ball reaction but could not execute well. My sense of rhythm, timing, and accuracy were all over the globe. To add insult to injury, when I shot for the 10 pin in the 10th frame of the second game, I felt my left knee buckle. From that point forward, I've been limping. It appears I am back to where I was before the operation. Last game with gimpy footwork I shot a 180 with a 4-7-9 split I did not convert. Now it appears I am down for the count.
