They do look fairly similar, though Keeth looks like he stays more vertical during delivery than Smallwood does. He's 5 inches taller than Smallwood though...maybe that has something to do with it.

for Smallwood's thumb, he uses a "thumb-tip" grip, keeping his thumb halfway out of the ball.
