I've now got confirmations from parents who say they're bringing their kids in from San Francisco, California; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Kingston, New York; and today I just got off the phone with a guy who's bringing his 6-year-old son in from Detroit, Michigan. This 6-year-old, he says, is already averaging in the 140s and has a couple of 200 games to his credit. Let that sink in. I also spoke with a mom of a youngster in Bostin a while back, but I haven't heard from her in a while.
So apparently, there's a surprising amount of interest in our "For Littles Only" event this Saturday. I guess it's because there are so few events tailored "For Littles only."
Anyway, if you've got a little kid of your own who bowls, you're invited, too. Must be 11 or younger (we are accepting a few 12 year olds if they're "little"). It's all for fun. The winner gets a nice trophy. And since Saturday is also the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind," I'm hoping to get enough Moon Pies for everyone. :-) (It's a Southern delicacy, ain't it?)
Y'all come now, y'hear?
