So my team mate (Chuck Wolfe) rolled his 1st official 300 last night.  I say official because back in the day, he rolled a perfect game (back before the reactive resin day).  They taped off the lane and the next day a inspector came to check the lanes.  Of course they said it was no good, because of the way the shot was layed down.  soooooo,  here it is 2009,  I finally talked him into bowling doubles in the summer and pulled him out of retirement.  We had been bowling together for the last 3 years, on Sunday mornings (open play).  He has racked up a couple of 300's on me, but of course, this is open play, so it dosen't get you a ring (Well we had our own plastic ring from the gum ball machine that we would pass around).   So for him to hit this, was that much more special.  Hope you all enjoy the video.

FOR FUN... SEE IF YOU CAN FIND MY NAME IN THE VIDEO!!!!

I struck out the 10th also.  Lucky I did, we only won by 50 pins that game.  We give a lot of pins to the other teams...Usually we are in the hole for 150+ before we even roll our 1st ball.

I love my new camera.  Does yours record to a harddrive or a SD Card?  And if so, what software do you use to edit the video and perhaps copy it to a dvd?  Have you gotten into recordable blue ray dvd's?  Thanks!

rstp354 : I'll let Chuck know.  I'm sure he'll crack a big smile!!!

Keith : It's nice for what it is (Kodak Zi6).  It records on to a SD card, up to as big as 32gb, and it stores the files as a mpeg4 .h264 codec.  The highest Res on this camera is 720p (60fps) and it did come with it's own editing software, which is very user friendly.  The problem I have had with it, is that the files will not work with Sony Vegas Pro 8C. As far as burning goes, I use Nero, which will you allow you to burn to any format and I don't own a blue-ray player or burner yet, but I think it might be in my near future!  The camera fits right in my back pocket, which would explain why it's with me all the time.

Ricky, that's a pretty slick device!  I have to take mine with me bowling and test it out.  The model I bought is the Canon VIXIA HF S100 Flash Memory HD Camcorder
