this is what's in my bag

What's new is the Storm Marvel Pearl.  What's not shown is the Storm Virtual Energy, with a moderate layout.

I am thinking of getting a Marvel Pearl also, what do you think of it?

the verdict is still out, as I've only used it for about 5 games.  So far, I still prefer my VG Nano over it.  When lanes are dry, it's too much ball for me, I can say that.

I hope it works out for you, it looks like you drilled it for length and the pearl cover should add to that.

Storm fan eh, Keith?   Those all have pretty strong layouts from what I gather just by looking at them.  I use similar drills on my stuff.

I will add a picture of my virtual energy...which has a medium layout.  The hyroad is a weak layout, and I find that i've been doing very well with it in tournaments that use a shorter oil pattern.  The marvel does go longer than the VG Nano...and it smells like cleaning fluid, it gives me a headache!

My go-to equipment right now is a 2Furious and Victory Road..they compliment each other well..

However, i have a Gold Rhino getting re-done..so that'll be my weakest piece.

Also, i have a Reckless by DV8 waiting for me in the shop..so those 4 I named will be my arsenal for the upcoming season..

pics up soon.

My stuff:

Hammer Backlash:

Hammer Widow Nasty:

And that's it...no plastic spare balls here...just change the release if I need the ball to go straighter.

Oh, and I remember the scented Storm equipment...used to have the Eraser Boost and Spitfire.  The Spitfire smelled like breakfast. LOL

Well it looks like my main rotation for the new season will be as follows.

Columbia 300 Pure Swing (Stronger Roll)
Hammer Toxic (Medium angular)
Hammer Epidemic (Medium Roll)
Brunswick Massive Damage (Weak roll)
And of course my Blue T-Zone spare ball.

If I need another reaction that these don't cover I can always swap in for a stronger or weaker piece because I do have many other options. But as of now this should match up pretty well for most possibilities. I may also post some pics soon, but well see I've been rather busy.

My rotation to start the season consists of 6 bowling balls in 2 bags that will not be used thanks to my... early...  retirement this season.

The sad part is I drill most of my equipment for league negative, so you'd only have to re-fit the holes, not even redrill for a new layout... lol

I decided to drill a plugged up but near new looking Inferno and an old Eraser Boost a friend had laying around for my "new" balls this season. Figure I can hit most any of the league shots around here with those. Oh, and the trusty Black Phantom for spares and playing darts to the pocket
