Well when you start having knee problems and have to wear a brace you better get real baggy pants and suspenders.

I don't see the point unless you have elbow pain.   If so, compression is a must.    If you have elbow pain, a compression shirt probably isn't the best option......... get an elbow sleeve like you see people wearing on knees.

If bowling a 20 game marathon, I suppose a sleeve wont hurt!!   Luckily....the elbow isn't a sore spot for me.   I do wear a wrist wrap, (not a brace)and this makes a difference for me when bowling a bunch of games.  I wear this all the time when I bowl and I feel naked without it.   When I was a noob bowler, I had wrist pain issues that led me to this strap and it eliminated my pain.   I probably don't need it anymore, but I still wear it.............it's my safety blanket and feels right when I wear it.

I don't use any sort of arm technology anymore...no wrist supports, no tendonitis bands....

As for what sort of wear, I can wear anything and bowl....polos, t-shirts, pants, shorts...I even bowled once in a t-shirt, and kept a light track jacket on.  I think I was cold that day!  Shot 670 or so.

Short sleeves are an absolute must for me.   It positively has to be a material that stretches..............like a T-shirt of collared golf shirt.  One young guy in my league has recently been wearing a collared dress shirt buttoned up with a bow tie, suspenders and dress slacks......he's making quite the fashion statement!!!  LOL...I've been meaning to bust his chops about it but never got around toit.

Wearing a non-stretchy dress shirt won't work for me.   I've seen videos if Keith wearing these shirts, albeit with the sleeves rolled up and shirt un-tucked which helps, but I don't know how he does it!! I suppose if it's loose enough and doesn't restrict motion....it's all good.

One league I wear a Pocket Tee.  Extremely comfortable.
The other my team wears bowling shirts.  Yea real team bowling shirts.  I think the sleeves could be shorter, but.  I also miss the pocket in them.  As the main jackpot guy I need a lot of places to put the money.  Never keep my wallet in my pants pocket.  I will start wearing shorts as soon as it get a little warmer.  I only wear long sleeve shirts for weddings and funerals.  Unless it is hot then not even then.
