Tam he said he got lucky he didn't nail it.  I would never do that because I am not lucky.  There is a state law saying something about not giving away more than $1000 How do you get around it?  We have the same pot as you do but it never get that big.  All our big pots are lucky digit.  We gave away $1000 last week and had $472 carry over.  It may get to $1000 again this week because of the carry over.

After 12 weeks we have given away $5390 in lucky digit and $1427 in lucky strike.

Betting money or gambling on how good or lucky you are is different in everyone.  Some of the best bowlers I have ever seen don't want to be an anchor man.  Same in combat it isn't the biggest baddest man it is usually someone you would never suspect.

This was before the $1,000 Michigan limit (set by the liquor commission).  My decision to go for it was strictly ego...because I know for a fact many others wouldn't have...and that win was most satisfying!!!

Why would the liquor commission set a $1,000 limit?I'd always heard our $599 limit was set
by the IRS so they could get their cut....out lottery has a $599 limit too, anything over is taxable
which I found out last year.I lucked into a $10,000 pick 4  and had to give a little over $3,000 in taxes.

Does your center have a game, not sure what it's called here where according to average
you have to get strikes or marks in certain frames? We have it here run by the bowling center
but it would seem by your liquor rules that would be prohibited

Worst thing I ever did, I had to get get 9 pins or so in the 10th frame to win our game by one pin, and I'm the anchor bowler.  On what I thought was a good shot, I go and leave the bucket.  The way the lanes are playing I wanted to make sure the ball actually hits it because they were having a tendency to burn up and not hook.  So I tell myself to throw a bit left to make sure the ball hits the pins.  I threw too far left and the thing literally took off and missed all four pins! [redface] [redface] [redface]  Certainly not what I planned to do and it was downright embarrassing.

So what do you do...you come back and win the next game and make certain you don't do that again!  Can't get down on yourself...just a game and its not like the Hunger Games or something where I die if I don't pick up a spare. [smile]
