I'm just biding my time, occasionally finding an activity to kill time with.

Being someone who not only works in bowling, but bowls three nights a week, and practices almost every day of the week, this thing really spun me around. I have no hobbies besides bowling, so I'm over here on the internet and sleeping the day away. Occasionally, I'll go to the grocery store, but that's pretty much the only thing that breaks the whole thing up for me.

Not gonna lie, I am kinda jealous of you guys who have hobbies outside of bowling. Makes me wish I was a normal person, not someone who's trying to go full-time on Tour in a couple years.

I play golf at least once a week. Good social distancing, and we can get around in 3 hours as a twosome. However I still miss bowling a lot

Past  2 weeks I returned to working. Houses I work
on are vacant so no one is around.   When I see someone
I hide

Doing what I usually do.  Work around the house when it's not raining, playing on the computer, watching bowling videos.  The only thing I'm not doing is bowling.  My life is pretty much the same as before.

If you're trying to go on tour, why not build some horseshoe pits in your yard and practice that? It seemed to work for WRW.

The lockdowns are FAR from BS Paul....people are dying from Covid-19 in New York City at such a high rate that bodies are/were being stored in refrigerated trucks because the morgues, crematoriums, and funeral homes are so overwhelmed.  I don't know if our member from NYC Irishpogi has been on the forum lately but perhaps he can provide some perspective on the situation he's seen down there.

Your state has had about 750 deaths due to the virus....mine has had over 21,000.

Fortunately my area in New York State hasn't been as hard hit as NYC but I can assure you that very few New Yorkers are thinking that the lockdown or governor is BS.  Last I heard our governor has an 88% approval rating in regards to how he's handling this situation, and that number includes both Democrats and Republicans.  When was the last time you saw that kind of biparitsan support?

Your governor is doing this to prevent what's happening in my state from happening in Washington, plain and simple.  Be glad he's trying to protect you...not everybody in government leadership is.

The last two posts hit the way I feel exactly.....the one
before that is why this virus will be hard to get rid of.

And if people started dying like in NYC you'd be saying
he shouldn't have opened so soon. What's a few months
of staying sheltered to saving live.

Dare, even with such a high, dense population the infection rate seems so high in NYC, Is it because of the number of people or that it was the destination of so many infected people before we had ever heard of the virus ?

I'm not Dare, but I have family living there.  It's a combination of high density population, international travel, and so many non English speaking minorities living in crammed quarters.  Remember people there in NYC live in multistory apt buildings, and tenement row houses, and studios of 2-300 square feet.  They have nowhere to go but out in the streets and common areas.  Horrible way to live in my opinion.

The problem is everwhere is different . Certainly cant fault the measures taken in NY. I think initial response in WA made sense, but now we are sitting in a county of 500K with less tha 20 people even in the hospital. 75% of all reported cases have already recovered. Yet we are still on Phase 1.
