This is what I got.  This is from the house, not the league.  I don't think the league has a way of contacting all of us, other than through the house.  At 70 I am one of the young ones in the league.  I am not going out to unnecessary events or appts but we have stocked up on supplies since I am housing and supporting my step son and his daughters, 7 and 9, and the girls are out of school until at least April 6.

Where's that at Dare? I hope ours cancels in the Denver area.  If I bowl, my wife may lock me out of the house

If people don't high5, and they cough into a tissue which they immediately dispose of in a bag (rather than in the crook of their arm where the germs linger on their clothing and can escape), there's no problem.

For young, healthy people, it's no more serious than the flu.

If that's true,  why is almost every thing else canceling, including outdoor sports like Golf  and Ski resorts?  Surely we can't be smarter than every body else, can we?

I guess there isn't enough napkins to go around. Now is
a bad time to have sports channels. Today's bowling may be
the last sports for a long time on tv

We cancelled our once a month league on Saturday because half the league was not going to be there. We'll see what happens next month.

Bowl One in Troy, MI has closed for two weeks and I believe Astro in Madison Heights, MI is as well, but I haven't confirmed that.

Every bowling center in Detroit is closing at 3pm today under the governors order. This will last until March 30 for now. We fall into the same category as restaurants, bars, theaters, etc. All closed. We dont know how this will affect our season. It is the right move in my opinion.

Our Emperor Beshear (self appointed) has closed just about everything here.  No school, no daycare, no movie theaters, gyms, sports venues.  Stores are cutting hours, and staff.  Should create an environment ripe for either martial law or revolution.  Bowling delayed two weeks, like that will stand for long.  Yippee, kids at home bored and parents with no income.  A recipe for disaster.

All bars are now closed here in New York and as Parkview has a bar, Parkview is closed.  We're handling this on a week-by-week basis but we only had two weeks left to go so I think we're done for the season.   [frown]

We bowled last night.  It was the last night of the year anyway.  Next week we will have our banquet and those who wish to open bowl a few games will do so.  Based on what I see and statistics, the economic impact of closing everything (we have zero cases here, but everything is shutting down) will be much worse than anything from COVID.
