I took this shot of myself bowling today with my High Def video camera, but I did that shot as a close up to to pins to see the ball driving through the pocket.  Don't worry, I do move out of the way in time.

I also think it's time ESPN should give bowling a little more respect, and start televising it in high definition.

Wow....Brilliant picture quality. And great 'hit' on those 2 shots. Good job, Kieth.

First thoughts:

1) Picture quality is fantastic!
2) AMF pins at an otherwise all Brunswick house?
3) Cool that the original Brunswick decal is still on the sweep.
4) How f***ing big is that clock hanging on the wall?
5) The roof of that place has to be 5x higher than at Parkview.  Was that place built in a former aircraft hanger?
6) Oh yeah, nice shooting!

2) AMF pins at an otherwise all Brunswick house? Go figure, they must be cheaper than the Brunswick Max Pins.
3) Cool that the original Brunswick decal is still on the sweep. On a few of the lanes, the news Brunswick decal is on the sweep
4) How f***ing big is that clock hanging on the wall?    It's a huge clock, when they were renovating, they had the clock hanging on the side wall, and it's much bigger than it seems...good observation.
5) The roof of that place has to be 5x higher than at Parkview.  Was that place built in a former aircraft hanger?  As far as I know, it's always been a bowling center.  Seems a lot of places here have those high roof's.  Sterling Lanes is the exception.  That was once a retail store, and it has low celiengs with the office type flourecent lighting.  it's very strange to bowl in there.

Great video indeed, quality is fantastic! AMF pins are the most common type anywhere for a while now. Brunswick had a LOT of problems with the MAX pins over the years from neck fractures and especially the base rings falling out. My current place is the same. Brunswick everything (until the scoring was replaced with Steltronic) and AMF pins. As of a few years ago, Brunswick pins were more expensive when we priced them at my old place by $10+ a case! AMF is now making Brunswick's pins for them which a lot don't know, so pretty much they're all AMFLites now with just different labels on them. I too love the old block letter Brunswick logo on the rake board, that was always my favorite one. We only have 1 lane left with that on it but we have a few old rake boards in the back still with that design on them. The deck shield is sweet too, always my favorite one. The A2 with the crowns on it, very nice looking house and 2 great shots from you Keith!

Lookin' strong and steady there Keith!  Your toy sure can capture great video that's for sure.

(And yeah that clock must be huge! Had to stare at it after someone mentioned it.)
