I wonder if they are going to use a tough oil pattern?  What if some of Detroit's bowling "royalty" try to get on the show?  Especially, if the jackpot builds up?

i remember the Twin Cities version of Bowling for Dollars.  The show was taped at various bowling centers around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and was originally hosted by KSTP-TV sports director Tom Ryther and later Johnny Canton.  

The show was a huge hit, airing twice a week and expanding to three nights a week.  Ratings were very high, garnering a 40 share of the audience at 6:30 PM.
