OK. I finally got That Purple Stuff yesterday, and I just used it on my 3 DV8's

First of all, I used the Max Tack (BowlersMart) for the first cleaning and it took some dirt and oil off.

After that I used TPS and got even more dirt and oil off all 3 balls!

The Ruckus Schizo I've had since the end of 2014. The only cleaning it has had is from normal frame to frame oil removal, and has only been resurfaced once.

The Thug Unruly I've had since August 2015. It has had the oil extracted twice with as many resurfaces.

The Vandal I've had since February and the only thing I've done is normal frame to frame oil removal.

In all 3 cases, the balls do not have a dark tinge to them in the lighter covered areas, and as I ran my fingers along my flare track I felt absolutely no slippage from oil and has much better tackiness to them. Almost as good as OOB!

The Max Tack is quite good for frame to frame cleaning and I will continue to use that during competition.

I will certainly use TPS after each night of bowling!

TPS is great stuff and worth every penny!!

I heard the chemicals in TPS are not very human friendly.

I'm not going to say this stuff smells great, but when you're doing a thorough cleaning you should do it in a well ventilated area.

While a touch of elbow grease doesn't hurt, TPS gets the job done better than anything I've ever tried or seen.

If your using a wet towel to wipe your ball off after every shot, you are breaking USBC RULE#2

Anyhow, he gave me a bottle of Max-Tack as a gift and will still get That Purple Stuff.

He suggested the Max-Tack because it's almost as good as That Purple Stuff, and I decided to try it before I do my 9 Tap Tour today.

I used the Power House first and did a decent job of getting the dirt off. But when I used the Max-Tack it took even more off!

Though I have watched a video of That Purple Stuff from Lane Side Reviews, I can only imagine how good it really is.

I no longer use a dry microfiber towel to clean my ball after each shot. I make sure that my towel always has plenty of cleaner on it at all times, especially if you can use these things as an anytime cleaner.

You do know its against USBC RULE #2 to use anything other then a dry towel to wipe your ball off after each shot
