Greetings.  I'm a frequent listener of the Vegas Sports and Information Network on XM Radio (XM204).  Each year, Matt Youmans (who was a sports writer for the Las Vegas Review & Journal) comes out with his fast food rankings.  Here is his 2020 list, that I thought I would share.

What is your top 5 and why?

Personally, I do not eat fast food that often, but once in awhile I splurge and go out and get something.  Sometimes when on vacation.

My top 5 are:

In N Out Burger, they do not have them in MI, only out west.  Been there twice, and the burgers are so very tasty.  They seem to be always busy too, each time, there were 50 people in front of me, but to get through the line and get your food took about 15 minutes!

Chick Fil A, I love their chicken tenders and waffle fries.  They are always busy too!  They are just starting to come into MI, the only times I've been there was in Ohio on the way to the Tigers/Pirates game to meet themrfreeze, and in Arizona

Panda Express, they make a good beef dish with broccoali that has lots of pepper in it that I love.

Smashburger, the burgers are very fresh there, the way they smash them is very unique.  The french fries with olive oil are tremendous.  What I've never gotten from there is a milk shake, one of these days!!!

Popeye's Chicken, their spicy chicken breast is to die for (probably so many calories you will die, lol), the french fries and the biscuits that comes with it is making me hungry right now just thinking about it!!!!

That list is full of shabby...how can they put McDonald's in 4th place and not have Five Guys on the list at all?

Was that the game we saw in Pittsburgh were the Pirates 1-hit the Tigers?  [rofl]

Now that I think about it, I don't think the Tigers have beaten the Pirates at any of the games we've seen together!

Mr300, in-n-out is hard to beat , ingredients are always fresh. Each location has a storeroom adjacent to the drive thru that is constantly being stocked . They cut the potatoes there and bring to the kitchen. I doubt anything is frozen. Their first location is a few miles from where I grew up so we were lucky for that. The company is still family owned . Founded by the Snyder family , passed to their 3 sons and when the last remaining son died the sole heir was their teenage grand daughter . It was a big ongoing story in the news for quite a while , as the company execs fought for ownership , but the girl won. She has maintained the quality of the operation since.👍
If you ever come to L.A. by car via HWy 10 you will see 2 location across the freeway from each other.
The one on the north side is at #1’s original location. The one on the south side is “ In-n-Out University “ , fully functional retail for training .

Rarely eat out.  Sometimes with the farmer across the street.  He prefers real food.  If I am in the mood I'll go to Popeyes for their 3 wing dinner, no beverage, coleslaw and biscuit with honey.  That's the only thing I've ever eaten there.

I like home cooking.

Popeye's is my fav chicken diner. Ever now and then I get the White Castle urge. I used to
like the Frisch's Big Boy when they knew how to make them. There was a good little family
owned Chinese pace I went to, I hope it's still in business. And good ol bowling alley homemade chilli
