The trend has been to longer patterns at the pro level the last couple of years.  PBA lengthened all the old animal patterns except cheetah, and added the 52 foot badger.  In my experience long flatter tournament patterns play easier than medium length patterns.  The pros also seem to have figured this out, once they stopped blowing up the heads with dull equipment, and started playing straighter, letting the track develop more naturally.

I like Randy was rooting for the old guys.   With that said, I was thrilled for Ryan winning his first major.  He was the dominant player all week long and I was happy to see him close the deal..   The fact that he's a lefty was an added bonus!!!!  Lefties RULE!!  hahaha

My son and I both enjoyed the telecast...good stuff!

My take on spoilers::::: so long as nobody creates a thread title..."Ryan Ciminelli Wins U.S. Open"...there is no problem.
I think people are smart enough not to click and read through a US Open thread after it's completion if they don't want to know who wins.    Just sayin'.....LOL

I also couldn't help to notice he was throwing the newest DV8 ball to hit the market.  Thug Life...   I am still loving my Thug Corrupt even though I've already bowled a shit-ton of games with it.[biggrin]

I have bought at least 6 balls since buying my DV8 Nightmare.  If they breakdown a little go to the new LT48.  I hate buying new balls I am always disappointed.

I am ok with Ryan except for him being a lefty.  [mad]

I love the Thug Corrupt so much that I might do like Keith does with his Hy-Roads!!

Keith, how many have you purchased so far...........7-8?  I have a sneaky feeling I haven't purchased my last Thug Corrupt.

That's why I don't look at posts on tourney's I haven't yet
seen.I got a lot of slack complaining about spoilers in
the past so my  complaining days are over.....for spoilers
anyway

I have yet to get a Hy-Road.  I am not sure I need one.  Am already using roto grip equivalents such as the Outcry and the Uproar.

There's a way for someone here to possibly get a FREE HyRoad if Mr. Bowling would just give me permission to post it. [biggrin]
