Yesterday was fun, but really frustrating.  My son's scores were: 105, 74, 110.  Mine were:  221, 245, 213.  The first game I had only 1 open.  The 2nd game I was on a 279 pace until the 1st ball of the 10th frame.  I threw a bad shot and left the 6-10 baby split.  I didn't convert.  That was deflating.  The last game I left a pocket 7-10 on the 1st ball of the 10th frame.  I'm encouraged on how I bowled; however, I still have some work to do.  'Til next week!

165-244-224=633.  Couldn't get dialed in the first game...ball kept coming up high or coming in light depending on whether I wiped all the oil off the ball or left the oil on the ball.  Second game I simply tried wiping only half the oil off the ball and that did the trick!

Yesterday:  My son - 131, 106, 97 = 334
                 Me - 238, 177, 216 = 631

I had only one open in each of the first two games.  The last game was clean.  My son had a great first game and tapered off after that.

280,201,232 for a 713. High average in the league at 225. Hoping to get to 230 by season's end.

212-205-234=651 last night.  Lanes were a wee bit squirrely last night but at least I put together a pretty solid set.  Another bowler in our league had a 299 last night...more proof of how much easier the shot is now that our center has an oiling machine.  Whether that's a good thing or not is up for conjecture.  Somebody is going to shoot the first 800 in the center's history this season...just a matter of time now.

The left handed year continues.  I shot 128, 145, 108 for 381.  I still have not cracked 400 and I think my average stands at 108.  I am clearly terrible left handed but I'm still enjoying myself.  Circumstances have not allowed me to practice at all yet so I just show up to league and chuck the ball down the lane and into the gutters.  It is an interesting feeling to have no idea where the ball is going.

Wednesday scores:  My son: 119, 89, 110 = 318
                              Me:  204, 159, 252 = 615

The 2nd game I couldn't get anything going.  The last game I had 5/, 8X's, and a washout in the 10th.  So far this season the 10th frame has been a pain.  Oh well, there's always next week.

Dreadful night on the lanes...510 with a 145 game to finish the night.  Was already having a bad day, this was just icing on the cake.  Turned out I wasn't keeping my arm straight and "chicking-winging" all night...didn't realize it until after we were done and I did some practicing.  Either nobody noticed me doing it or nobody cared enough to say anything about it. Hopefully with that fixed I'll bowl better tonight at a tournament being held at my center.

On a humorous note, a guy on the other team left the 4-6-7-10 and managed to only leave the 7-pin.  Hit the 6 pin thin enough to slide it into the 4 but neither could knock down the 7.

673 last week and I started with 224 so I wrongly thought I found
something.  138 with 6 splits the 2nd game and 164 the last.  The lanes
got squirrely, one lane started overhooking and the other started not
finishing

What happened to your bowling pb? Last year you struggled tho shoot 500 and this year your shooting 600's. Are the lanes easier or have you improved that much?

I keep pb and the pb is pin-up. I decided to get purple hammer urethane with pin-down for depend oil conditions. I improved myself this year than last year because my swing keep balance.
