Our Sunday adult-youth league started last Sunday...shot 630 last weekend with the sanded gold Angle.  On the same pair again today, shot 246-245-244=735 with the shined up black Angle.  We bowl second shift and for whatever reason the lanes were a bit drier today.  Just piped the black Angle straight up 6th board, it walked up into the pocket pretty as you please.  No transition this week to deal with either.  Weird, but I'm not complaining.  😃

Been bowling pretty decently lately, lots of big numbers (shot my first 280 and 30 clean a few weeks ago) but what took the cake was bowling a Sport 300 game on November 13th

Here's the video, hopefully it shows.

By the way, the lady in the white? That's USBC Hall of Famer Pam Buckner. And if you look closely on the right side of the video, you'll see a hand point to the right. That's the hand of 1988 PBA National runner-up Todd Thompson.

266,279,247 for a 792. Missed two easy spares on the night, so I have nothing to blame except myself.

Threw the ball well and was 31/36 on strikes. Just got way in and wheeled it.

274-200-226=700 last night.  Had the front 9 the first game with my original black Hammer, then went 6-spare-8 in the 10th to blow another shot at my first Parkview 300 (dropped my shoulder and threw the ball too far outside for it to recover).  Lanes transitioned weirdly...second game I started with the first 5 shots solid in the pocket.....6-8 split (which I picked), solid-7, solid-8, strike, solid-7.  Carry totally vanished.  I eventually went to the sanded up blue Hammer the third game and recovered pretty well, but the damage was already done.

216 - 265 - 189 = 670 at Five Star Lanes. At that house, I'll take it and run.

Finally got a decent 600+  I bowled with a 14 lb Brunswick Fortera Exile which is asymmetric and gets good continuation through the rack.  Had scores of 181 (missed two single pins) 226 and 258.  We took 6 of 8.

222-226-196=644 last night with my Faball blue Hammer.  Lanes were kind of odd last night, had to stand farther right than usual and swing the ball out...not something I'm used to at Parkview!  One lane transitioned, the other didn't, and I was the only lefty on the pair last night.

We were on the end pair (7&8) and the heater for the backend is behind this pair...if they leave it on during bowling it dries out the end of this pair quickly so balls start getting snappy.  A pretty blatant example of how environmental conditions effect bowling.

Two nights ago: 247-204-193 = 644 series. All 3 games used Hy-Road. I should reach 700 but it was hard if bowled decent scores
