For those of you who don't know, I'm a quad amputee there still love to get up and throw the ball once a week in league play. The problem is, since I can't put any fingers in the ball I don't get as much speed as I like since I don't longer have the pendulum swing. I'm throwing a 14 pound plastic ball and even then sometimes the lanes are too Dry.

Any advice?

Here is a link to the news piece that was done on me a couple of years ago regarding my bowling

Patrick, I wish I had some advice to give on your dry lane issue. I really don't have anything to offer. I'm really only posting to say I watched your video, and I'm inspires beyond words that you found the fight to make it back to the bowling alley. Much respect from a fellow friend in bowling. I wish you the best of luck and hope someone can find some ideas that can help you.

Thanks for the kind words. I was very hesitant about letting them film me but when I realized I could potentially help other people in the same situation I am I figured I would take one for the team. LOL

As far as improving my ball speed? There aren't too many quad amputees out there Who are active bowlers so I'm having to figure out all the stuff on my own. I'll just keep getting after it.

Thanks again.
