Who here uses them? I was thinking about switching to them, but after seeing my teammate having problems with them coming out and being lost in the lane pits, i'm not so sure anymore.

I tried them for a season, but nothing about my game varies enough to put them into everything. I always keep a small supply of tape and a knife in my bag to adjust my fits. I didn't like how loose they felt sometimes, and opposite of that, one of my bowling balls i could barely lock it in because of the tightness and couldn't get it out.

If you have an excellent pro shop guy who can duplicate thumb holes, then these gimmicks are not needed, in my opinion. Every thumb hole my guy does is exactly the same.

Besides being able to switch the proper fit between balls if you needed to during the course of bowling. The other big reason for Interchangeable thumbs is it gives a player the ability to change thumb hole sizes, Should their thumb change size do to swelling or shrinkage during the day or a set of bowling. Some bowlers don't like fiddling with taping during bowling, So this gives them the option to have a set varying thumb hole sizes you can swap in and out. (Though some also use tape even with them for varying reasons.)

You should try the new Jo-Po Grips. A totally new design.

I switched to the interchangeable thumbs 2 years ago, I would never go back. No longer do I have a 'favorite ball' based on how my thumb gets out.
