That's crazy, that's the same center that Pete McCordic shot his 300 at isn't it? R.I.P. to the victims. [frown]

This is the wrong place to argue about guns.  I would really be happy if I never heard of another shooting in a church, school, restaurant, bowling center or concert.

I agree wholeheartedly, on both counts.

The shooter has been caught.  It was a man out on parole from a previous gun related crime.  They still don't know why he started shooting.  Back to jail he goes, on multiple charges.

Shootings like this have become so common they are not even mentioned on the national TV news or in the local newspapers in other states.

Contrast that with January 2002, when a gunman entered a Denver-area bowling alley shortly before closing time and fatally shot the three employees on duty.  Now 17 years later, the suspect has never been identified or arrested, and the bowling center is now an overflow parking lot for one of John Elway's auto dealerships.

My daughter went to an event at a local bowling alley here in Michigan the day after this.  She doesn't even bowl, but was meeting friends there.  Don't think that the scene from Gable House crossed my mind on that evening.
